Privacy notice
Effective October 6, 2026
Baselayer, LLC, doing business as Baselayer, operates this website. This notice explains how we handle information when you visit our website or contact us about our services.
Information you provide
Our inquiry form collects your name, email address and message. You may include your business name, the service you are interested in, or a preferred contact number in your message. Please keep your message focused on your project and avoid including passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.
When a link contains campaign information, such as a campaign name or source, we may include that information with your inquiry to understand how you found us. We also keep a submission reference, the time received and delivery status to help us process your request.
How we use information
We use inquiry information to respond, discuss your needs, prepare a quote and keep a record of our conversation. We use technical information to operate the website, prevent spam and investigate delivery problems. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Services involved in your inquiry
- Cloudflare hosts the website, processes form submissions and stores a delivery copy so we can retry or investigate delivery. Cloudflare Turnstile checks requests for spam and automated abuse.
- HubSpot receives submitted inquiry details so we can organize contacts and respond to requests.
- Resend and our email service deliver and store the inquiry notification sent to our business inbox.
These services receive information needed for their role. Hosting and security providers also process technical details such as IP addresses, browser information and request information. Our form passes your IP address to Turnstile for verification and uses a temporary, hashed identifier for request limiting. The inquiry record itself does not include your raw IP address.
For details about Turnstile, see Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy notice. Providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Fonts and browser storage
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to that service when it requests font resources, which exposes technical request information such as your IP address. We will update this notice if those resources are moved to our own hosting.
We use Apollo website tracking to understand which companies visit our website and support sales follow-up. Apollo’s tracker supports company identification and, when enabled in our Apollo settings, identification of individual visitors in the United States. This tracking is separate from submitting an inquiry. Apollo may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information and page visits, and use cookies or similar browser storage to associate visits with company or contact information.
We also use Google Tag Manager to load and manage website tags. Your browser connects to Google when it loads the Tag Manager container. Tags published in that container may collect visit information or use cookies and similar storage according to their configuration. We will update this notice when we add tags that change how we handle visitor information.
We use HubSpot website tracking to understand page visits and engagement and support sales follow-up. HubSpot may use cookies and similar browser storage and process technical information such as your IP address, browser information and pages visited. When you identify yourself to us, HubSpot may associate website activity with your contact record. Visiting the website or sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Security services may use browser signals or storage needed to protect the website. You can manage cookies and browser storage through your browser settings and contact us about tracking or your information using the address below. Blocking security features may prevent the contact form from working; you can contact us by email instead.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, provide requested services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations and protect our business. Lead and inquiry information is generally retained for up to 24 months following the last meaningful interaction, such as an inquiry, reply or substantive conversation. We then delete or anonymize it unless an ongoing customer relationship, legal obligation or other documented business need requires longer retention.
We review spam and inquiries from people who opt out or tell us they are not interested for earlier deletion or anonymization, generally within 30–90 days. We may keep a minimal record of an opt-out to respect that preference. Customer, consent and security records are retained according to their purpose and applicable obligations. Copies in provider logs and backups may remain until the provider’s applicable retention cycle ends.
This policy covers inquiry copies in our delivery system, HubSpot and business email. You can ask about a particular record or request its deletion using the contact details below.
Your choices and requests
You can choose not to submit the form and can leave optional fields blank. To ask about information you provided, request a correction or request deletion, email hello@baselayertechnologies.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will consider your request and explain any information we need to retain for legal, security or ongoing service reasons. Additional rights may apply depending on where you live.
Updates and contact
We may update this notice when our website or information practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. For privacy questions, contact Baselayer, LLC at hello@baselayertechnologies.com.
